I'm gonna come across as a pest, but I'm not a fan of one-up-manship. Everyone has the right to their discomfort/pain. I don't think anyone should have to hold their tongue if they want to talk about the problems related to their pregnancy.
Then again, I think you need to have common sense and be sensitive. I don't think anyone should go bitching about pregnancy on a TTC or IF board.
I'm usually very much in the camp of "to each his own" whether it be an opinion or a whine. However, this irritation that is TTC makes me catty/snarky at times. :-)
